Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements for public works and commercial projects.
Lead the bid preparation process and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop bid strategies and project schedules.
Manage awarded projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Track project changes and communicate impacts to cost and schedule effectively.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
Strong background in public works projects (schools, municipalities, infrastructure, etc.).
Experience managing electrical construction projects.
Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, PlanSwift etc) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of NEC, local building codes, and public bidding procedures.
Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
