Electrician**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team, responsible for various tasks including bending pipe, pulling wire, installing fixtures, terminations, and reading blueprints. The role involves daily activities such as pulling 200 feet of 3/4 conduit, installing fixtures, and reading technical drawings. The successful candidate will be required to use standard electrical tools and a cordless drill.

**Responsibilities**

+ Bend and install conduit pipes efficiently.

+ Pull and install wire as required, with a focus on achieving daily targets of 200 feet of 3/4 conduit.

+ Install and terminate electrical fixtures and systems.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

**Essential Skills**

+ Active TDLR license.

+ Minimum of 2 years of commercial electrical experience.

+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.

+ Skilled in conduit bending and installation.

+ Familiarity with electrical wiring and repair.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in industrial and commercial electrical settings.

+ Ability to work with rigid conduit and pulling cable.

+ Knowledge of schematic installations and lighting systems.

**Work Environment**

This position operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional Saturdays required. The role demands flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed. You will be working on new construction projects, including schools in Georgetown, TX, and retail/commercial sites in South Austin/Central. Safety is a priority, and you must adhere to the dress code, which includes steel-toed boots, a vest, hard hat, and safety glasses at all times on site.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
