JOB FAMILY SUMMARY PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Manager of Planning & Project Management, will work with the Substation, Transmission and P&C engineering and field departments applying the best inventory planning, finance, and contract management practices to successfully execute projects. Also, special tasks to support the planning and project management groups will be assigned as needed.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain Management, Legal Studies, Engineering, Accounting, or Business Administration with an emphasis in project management, budget management, or related field; or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- 0-5 years or more experience required.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in professional contracts negotiation, administration or a similar capacity with direct responsibility in purchasing major goods and services.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in project management practices and concepts.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in creating or interpreting project estimates and budgets.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in creating or interpreting project schedules.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in supply chain management, contracts negotiation, and/or contracts administration.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in standard commercial terms, legal terms, and dispute resolution techniques.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in procurement practices such as formal and informal bid methods, negotiating techniques, and contract requirements applicable to electric utilities.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of PC hardware and Microsoft applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Teams.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of MS Project or any other software tool used to create schedules and track tasks.
- Ability to create documentation of developed applications and internal processes/procedures and develop training materials as required.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with officers, managers, fellow employees, and the public.
- Ability to maintain a strong sense of propriety concerning confidential matters.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Accountable and responsible for analyzing daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Accountable and responsible for monitoring demand and analyzing data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
- Accountable for managing asset inventory, to include ordering, storing, using, disposing, replenishing, relocating - through the entire lifecycle. The assets include raw materials, components and spares, finished products, etc.
- Utilizes ERP and/or EAM software solutions to address key inventory management processes (e.g. warehouse mobility, requisitioning) and provide transparency into inventory status visibility
- Supports Enterprise Supply Chain and Vendor Relations to avoid gluts and shortages and inform asset supply chain activities (e.g. vendor negotiations)
- Accountable and responsible for managing contractors used for construction and engineering services as defined on the Work Plan function.
- Accountable for the PO and contract management process.
- Serves as the key interface with enterprise level Supply Chain function with regard to onboarding contractors.
- Accountable for integrating contractors into TSR's digital EAM ecosystem via digitization and automation of work delivery and work execution.
- Accountable and responsible to develop and maintain processes and procedures for effective inventory planning and contracts administration within the TSR division as needed.
- Valid driver's license and comply with the Company's Driving Program policy.
- Responsible for ensuring the enforcement of and compliance with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and code of ethics, as well as all applicable governmental laws and regulations to include employment, safety and environmental standards and regulations
