Maintenance Electrician**

**Pay : $33/HR**

**Location : Princeton**

**Job Description**

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical equipment, wiring, and lighting systems. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our facilities' electrical infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**

+ Test, troubleshoot, and repair control panels, electric motors, and other electrical equipment.

+ Isolate and repair issues in wiring, motors, and electrical components.

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls and motor control centers.

+ Bend and install rigid or PVC conduit.

+ Pull electrical cables and wires through conduit.

+ Utilize voltage and amperage measuring devices effectively.

+ Travel between facilities to assist with daily operations and maintenance.

+ Complete work orders for routine repairs, maintenance, and installation of lighting and power circuits in a timely manner.

+ Maintain equipment such as switch gear, generators, and lighting systems.

+ Assist in the preventive maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration systems, and equipment.

+ Respond to after-hour emergencies as needed.

+ Collaborate with outside contractors and vendors performing repairs or servicing equipment onsite.

+ Work with onsite contractors and vendors such as security, cleaning staff, and cafeteria personnel.

**Essential Skills**

+ Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

+ Computer skills necessary to interface with machinery programs.

+ Excellent communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills.

+ Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

+ Adherence to company safety policies and procedures.

+ Experience with high voltage equipment up to 600 volts.

+ Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and NEC rules.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ 10 years of practical commercial/industrial electrical experience preferred.

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Active Journeymans electrical license.

+ Valid drivers license.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
