Yard Foreman Job Description As a Yard Foreman, you will be responsible for managing inventory, building orders, coordinating drop-offs and deliveries, and overseeing yard functions. You will also manage costs of materials and tools, ensuring that materials are delivered in reasonable amounts. Responsibilities Manage inventory and oversee yard functions. Coordinate drop-offs and deliveries efficiently. Build and manage orders effectively. Ensure cost-effective delivery of materials and tools. Supervise and lead the team in the yard environment. Essential Skills Proficiency in inventory control and logistics. Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift. Experience as a lead, foreman, or supervisor in a warehouse or inventory management environment. Comfortable working outdoors. Valid Driver's License. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a construction yard environment preferred. Experience with reach lift forklifts. Work Environment This role requires working outdoors with a schedule of 50-hour work weeks, Monday to Friday, from 5am to 3:30pm with 10-hour days.
