Global Go is seeking a highly experienced Construction Estimator in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will participate in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Please submit your resume with detailed project histories exemplifying strong leadership skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to meet timelines, and successful problem solving.
Responsibilities:
Determine best allocation of resources for assigned projectsIdentify labor, material, and time requirements in project proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.Analyze labor, material, and time requirementsInterface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clientsNegotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Qualifications:
3-10 years experiencePrevious experience in commercial / federal construction management or other related fieldsExperience using estimating software that runs RS MeansFamiliarity with construction management softwareStrong leadership qualitiesExemplary analytical skillsDeadline and detail-orientedCompany DescriptionGlobal Go is a Fort Lauderdale-based, growing contractor, primarily for the federal government, that works in construction, emergency and disaster response, as well as logistics.
