Production Supervisor - Manufacturing Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the production floor. This role is critical in ensuring that production goals are met efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stamping and manufacturing processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. 1 st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday Pay is $28-32/hour based on experience Direct Hire Placement Western Lake County area Key Responsibilities: Ensure all production equipment operates at standard rates to meet on-time delivery goals. Assign operators to workstations and ensure they are performing required duties. Evaluate and implement continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency. Utilize MRP systems to report production, check order status, and issue maintenance requests. Collaborate with supporting departments to maintain smooth production flow and meet customer requirements. Oversee training and re-training of current and new employees on processes and best practices. Conduct and understand annual performance appraisals for department staff. Use inspection tools to verify part quality. Communicate noteworthy activities and issues to the Operations Manager. Adhere to ISO/IATF, safety, and environmental procedures, as well as company policies. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of stamping and manufacturing equipment. Familiarity with ISO/QS9000/TS16949 standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications. Proficient in Microsoft Office and MRP systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
