MIG Welder**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for taking stock and machined material and welding it together. You will perform a variety of welds at different angles, working with diverse materials and thicknesses primarily for carwash components. Beyond welding, you will also handle some material tasks including grinding, polishing, and using saws for cutting when necessary.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform welding tasks on various carwash parts using MIG techniques.

+ Handle materials and perform grinding and polishing as required.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding.

+ Operate saws to cut materials when necessary.

+ Adapt to changing materials and thicknesses for different carwash components.

**Essential Skills**

+ 3 years of MIG welding experience with steel or aluminum.

+ Ability to work with a variety of material thicknesses, ideally from 3/16" to 1/4".

+ Experience in a custom shop environment rather than production welding.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ TIG welding experience.

+ Experience with carbon sheet materials.

**Work Environment**

Work in a very clean and organized manufacturing floor with ample space. The facility is quiet, well-lit, and designed to foster a collaborative atmosphere. Our team currently consists of 15 members with plans to expand to 25 by the year's end.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolingbrook, Illinois.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
