The Role
The Safety Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of the company's Safety Program for a designated set of BURG's. This individual leads the integration and development of the Territory Safety Leads (TSL) and monitors the performance of safety within the BURG's. This role is considered a subject matter expert with regards to jobsite safety requirements and the associated tools and processes related to planning and executing work.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborates with the Area Leads during the Talent Planning Process to review open needs and development priorities associated with the TSL's.
* Leads the integration and development of the TSL's to achieve a high degree of competency in safety as it relates to the company's Safety Program, planning and execution processes, and influencing behaviors.
* Understands the uniqueness of work processes as it relates to the various market types and teaches the TSL's accordingly.
* Monitors BURG safety performances through data analysis, utilization of safety metrics, and influences Area Leads to take appropriate action as necessary.
* Audits the implementation of the Safety Program through routine site visits with the TSL's and engages the Project Team and Area Lead to drive improvement of outcomes.
* Leads any incident investigation to determine the root cause and collaborates with the appropriate co-workers to identify corrective measures to prevent repeat occurrences.

* CHST Certification (strong preference)
* Holds OSHA 30 Certification
* 7-10+ Years of Experience in construction
