Job Description:
Were looking for person to train to become a skilled and motivated Stone Refinisher. 100% of the training up to eventual Stone Foreman will be provided by MASS. As a stone refinisher, youll be using your expertise in buffing, stripping, sanding, filling, grinding, honing, polishing, and finishing techniques to restore surfaces to their best state. Looking for a crew member who excels in being both a team player and a leader, whos able fast track into a foreman role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Willingness to be teachable, follow instructions and completing work orders to quality standards, in a timely manner
- Complete applicable training and move into a foreman role within 6-12 months of hire
- Eventually accountable to complete all WOs specs while leading crews ensuring all work is completed to MASS and Customer standards
- Working with solvents, chemicals, pneumatic and power tools
- Follow all safety and OSHA related protocols, including the use of company vehicles
- Successfully complete all required safety and training modules
- Work nights (generally 4/5pm - 2/3am) with flexibility to work occasional days or weekends
- Occasion out of town travel (in company van, with daily per diem allowance and individual hotel)

ualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Current and valid drivers license, with an insurable driving record
- Effective communication skills - both written and verbal
- Comfortable with heights and working in confined spaces
- Ability to kneel, squat, bend, lift, reach, climb and carry equipment up to 60lbs unassisted
- Polishing, honing, sealing and repair skills of stone, marble and granite
- High level of attention to detail/cleanliness
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base of $20 per hour/ 40hrs a week during first 30 days of training
- After passing apprentice trainee testing, eligible for bonus pay plan with a base determined on current level of knowledge and skill
