Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring a skilled HVAC Technician for a commercial project in Matthews, NC. We're looking for someone who can lay out work for a crew, read and interpret mechanical prints, and assist with voltage testing and unit start-up. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-level tech who can lead while working hands-on.

Work Scope Includes:

• Reading and interpreting HVAC plans and schematics

• Laying out ductwork and equipment installation for crew members

• Assisting with voltage testing and start-up of HVAC units

• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow

• Ensuring quality, code-compliant installations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a lead HVAC technician or installer

• Strong knowledge of unit start-up procedures and voltage testing

• Ability to read and mark up mechanical drawings

• Must have own tools and full PPE (hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses, boots)

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Reliable transportation required
