Entry-level CMT Engineering Technician - Will Train

NOVA Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician at our Kennesaw, GA office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the construction industry. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
  • Collect samples and conduct tests to ensure materials meet project specifications and standards.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports of test results.
  • Communicate findings to project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to learn and be trained in construction materials testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Preferred: Experience in the construction industry or related field.
