ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Skillfully operate hand tools including but not limited to grinders both electric and pneumatic
  • Inspect product for defects or damage to ensure quality standards are met
  • Assist in the loading of raw materials to stock racks and into production line
  • Load and offload pieces through in line polisher
  • Perform daily cleaning of floor and drain around and near the fabrication and polish stations

Requirements

Qualifications for Fabrication/Polish Technician

  • Prior experience in a countertop production setting preferred
  • Familiar with production equipment and machinery
  • Experiencing operating Forklift
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Self-driven and hard worker
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Solid at communication and problem solving
  • Flexible to work overtime or weekends as required
  • Able to stand for long hours at a time
  • Physical dexterity
  • Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 60 lbs
  • Must be proficient at math and able to read a tape measurer
