We are looking to hire for the position of Welder for our Cortland, OH facility. Skills and experience will determine classification and pay rate.

Responsibilities

Performs welding processes on aluminum, steel and other metals' parts using welding metals and metal alloys.Welds parts according to engineering drawings and specifications..Under general supervision, uses hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to weld together metal components (flat, horizontal, or vertical plates and pipes).Works from sketches, prints, operation sheets, preliminary drawings, and written/verbal instructions.Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.Performs welding in multiple positions (G3, G6).Assigned to lead a specific project without supervision.Builds up worn and/or defected surfacesOther work may be assigned at Management's discretion.

Experience/Education/Skills/Certifications

High School Diploma or EquivalentSkills and experience will determine classification and pay rateCrane/Forklift - In house training provided to obtain certificationWelding CertificationDriver's licenseAbility to use hand tools, safety boots, hard hats, safety glasses, welding gloves, fall protection, ear plugs, FR Uniforms, welding hood
