Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Roof Maintenance Assistant Operation Supervisor oversees operations on all Roof Maintenance projects from beginning to end with a focus on efficiency of operations, meeting deadlines and remaining within the budget. This position assists with managing the field workforce in the daily operations including hiring and terminations.

- Participates in all Roofing Maintenance Department Meetings and Operations Meetings to include review of upcoming work schedules.
- Report all vital Roof Maintenance and personnel matters back to the Roof Maintenance Sr. Operations Manager in a timely manner.
- Reviews required equipment and labor needs with Account Managers/Service Coordinators for all assigned projects.
- Facilitates pre and post job meetings for all projects over 150 hours. To include Account Managers, Foreman and helpers.
- Ensures the crew leader has the appropriate materials and equipment on the jobsite to accurately complete each project.
- Monitors project hours, costs and reviews with Account Managers and Service Manager.
- Coordinates and manages jobsite deliveries and subcontractors to include maintaining jobsite records as needed.
- Checks in daily with the Sr. Operations Supervisor.
- Visits jobsites daily to ensure safety measures, quality control and efficiency.
- Conducts pre-inspection of roof work completed on which a manufacturer's warranty will be issued.
- Works in coordination with Houck Safety Team to make sure safety requirements are met.
- Ensures that field employees are effectively maximizing their time on the jobsite.
- Assists with reassigning and restructuring crew rosters as necessary.
- Assists in evaluating field employment applications and selecting candidates for hire.
- Investigates customer complaints and take remedial action when necessary and assure the customer's expectations are being met.
- Stays current on roofing products, techniques, concepts and methods.
- Flexible to change and acts as a team player.
- Abides by all OSHA and Houck safety guidelines.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Understands that the roof maintenance Department is a 24/7 operation and may need to work after hours and on weekends per the customers needs.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises field employees in the Roof Maintenance Department and assists with hiring and termination authority.

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma (Vo-tech preferred) or GED
and/or
- Five years of roofing construction experience.
Travel
Ability and flexibility for occasional travel is expected for this position. A current drivers' license is required.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment as well as on site at construction locations. The use of computers, iPads, printers, cell phones, telephones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines is required. Other functions can take place indoors or outdoors, sometimes in high, precarious places with fumes and/or airborne particles. The standard outdoor work environment has loud to very loud noise levels associated with various equipment, coworkers and phone conversations. Often work must be performed in high and/or cramped workspaces and awkward positions. The employee works around hazardous situations, materials and equipment.
