We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Concrete Carpenter with hands-on experience in commercial and industrial concrete work. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up and constructing footings, foundations, slab-on-grade, edgeforms, walls, columns, and decks. This role requires a strong understanding of formwork systems, blueprint reading, and concrete finishing techniques. Key Responsibilities: Set up and pour footings and foundations according to project specifications. Install and align edge forms and slab-on-grade systems. Build and strip formwork for walls, columns, and elevated decks. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project layouts. Ensure proper placement and finishing of concrete using hand and power tools. Monitor curing conditions and apply finishing techniques as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA standards. Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines. Required Qualifications: Journeyman-level field experience Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete carpentry Proficient in measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork. Experience with podium-type projects or any commercial-level projects. Familiarity with commercial construction standards and safety protocols. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Lay out/Blueprint ready is a plus Operating equipment is a plus Rigging experience (hand and verbal signal experience) is a plus. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments. Must have reliable transportation and basic hand and power tools Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm with some overtime Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
