Burgess & Niple is seeking a Civil Engineer, Transportation to join our multi-discipline engineering consulting firm in our office Tampa, FL.

B&N Civil Engineer, Transportation Responsibilities:

Responsible for design and production of roadway, drainage, and/or traffic construction plans

Assist with preparation of documents for local governments or other clients

Typical duties would include working on studies, reports, plan quantities, cost estimating, coordination

Collaborate with Professional Engineers and Design staff

Enhance B&N's presence in the community by providing professional services to enhance the economy and quality of life

Assist with the development of bid/contract documents

Thrive in an organization that constantly adapts and evolves with client needs

Interact with clients, governing agencies and the public and perform occasional field / site visits

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program

0-4 years of experience

Software proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel) and AutoCAD Civil 3D

EI or ability to take Florida FE within one year of hire

Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
