HVAC Compliance and Training Supervisor Location: Denver Metro Area (Service radius ~50 miles) Employment Type: Full-time, W-2 Reports To: CEO Overview A rapidly growing home services company is launching a new direct-to-consumer HVAC division across Colorado - and we're looking for an experienced, licensed HVAC professional to lead the charge. With a service base of over 20,000 homes and thousands of annual service calls, we're expanding beyond property management and going straight to the homeowner. You'll be the technical leader, field expert, and licensing authority behind this next chapter. What You'll Do Hold & Maintain Licensure: Carry the required Master-level HVAC/Mechanical Supervisor License (Class A or B) to pull permits and sign off on installations in municipalities including Denver, Aurora, and Colorado Springs. Hands-On Work: Provide direct service and repair on furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, minisplits, and air-quality systems (~35-45 hrs/week initially). Operational Setup: Help build out standard operating procedures (SOPs), tool lists, inventory, software solutions, and overall service experience. Team Building: Train and mentor new techs as the team grows. Verify work quality and job site safety. Compliance & Code: Stay updated on ICC/IMC codes, local amendments, and EPA 608 regulations. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with dispatch, sales, and marketing to refine pricing models and promotional strategies. Represent the Team: Attend inspections, supplier meetings, and trade events. What You Bring Licensure: Current Class A or B Mechanical Supervisor Certificate (Denver), or ability to obtain within 60 days. Experience: 8+ years in residential/light commercial HVAC with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Certifications: EPA 608 Universal required; NATE certification. Technical Skills: Strong diagnostics experience with high-efficiency gas furnaces (90% AFUE), minisplits/VRF systems, and central AC units. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro) and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets). Clean Record: Valid CO driver's license, clean MVR, and ability to pass background and drug screening.
