Structural Project Engineer - Mid Level Location: Nyack, NY (In-Office) Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: 8-hour shift One of Our Clients is currently seeking a Mid-Level Structural Project Engineer to join their structural engineering team based in Nyack, NY . The ideal candidate will support and lead all phases of structural project development including planning, design, analysis, and coordination for a diverse range of buildings such as schools, healthcare centers, office complexes, industrial facilities, and residential structures. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate project plans, calculations, and specifications. Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure high-quality project delivery. Represent the firm in meetings and site visits with clients. Conduct site investigations and condition assessments to identify and document structural deficiencies. Prepare schematic designs, load ratings, and technical reports. Understand client needs and translate them into effective structural solutions. Lead project planning and organize project staff in accordance with the scope and requirements. Perform structural analysis and design for various building systems and materials using applicable codes. Manage the project design process and oversee timely deliverables. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred) Minimum of 7 years' experience in structural engineering Professional Engineering (PE) license in New York (required) Proven ability to manage projects, delegate tasks, and mentor junior staff Strong understanding of building codes and code compliance Proficiency in structural analysis software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines AutoCAD and Revit experience (preferred) Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary Bonus opportunities 401(k) retirement plan Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Additional Information: This is a full-time, in-office position.
