Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead our team and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of construction processes related to commercial roofing, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role is crucial in coordinating crew members and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Manage and coordinate construction activities, including resource allocation and task delegation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain quality control throughout all phases of construction, ensuring that work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Review blueprints as well as manufacturer installation guides to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Train and mentor junior crew members, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of low slope roofing construction processes including TPO, EPDM, and Modified Bitumen.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and motivation.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for effective quality control.
- Ability to communicate effectively with crews as well as management.
**Compensation/Benefits:**
- Hourly payrate of $41.43 per hour
- Union position with Union level benefits including health, vision, dental, and pension
- No travel work, all projects are located in NE Ohio. Foremen are home every night!
- Use of a Company truck and fuel card
- No seasonal lay offs, we work all year-round.
- Sign on bonus of up to $5,000
