Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage projects from purchase order to commissioning. The role involves ensuring successful project completion, maintaining technical knowledge of solar tracking systems, and supporting the development of innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in managing project profitability, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating across various teams. Responsibilities
- Manage groups of projects from purchase order to commissioning, taking ownership of all project aspects.
- Read and understand contracts, perform cost scoping, and conduct data analysis to determine appropriate parts and site allocations.
- Develop and maintain a technical understanding of solar tracking systems and associated tools.
- Manage project profit and loss, including revenue forecasting, invoicing, cash flow, and cost management.
- Provide customer field support for installation and quality control, driving resolution to quality issues through Non-Conformance Report and Construction Deviation Report processes.
- Support product development, sales, and marketing initiatives as requested.
- Coordinate the ordering of tools and ensure their availability and training for project teams.
- Ensure a strong customer care experience by effectively communicating resolutions for customer issues.
- Oversee the safety and daily workflow of Technical Advisers and Commissioning Teams assigned to the site.
- Strong project management skills with 3-7 years of experience.
- Proficiency in scope management, data analysis, estimation, change order management, forecasting, invoicing, and cost management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience in supply chain procurement and logistics.
- Talent for dealing with customer support and operations and maintenance issues.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
