Our client, a well-respected Heavy Civil General Contractor, is looking for a Working Superintendent to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing boots-on-the-ground leadership with operating equipment. You’ll oversee crews, schedules, safety, and quality while also jumping in on equipment as needed—up to 50% of the time.

This is a traveling role with projects across NE, KS, IA, SD, ND, and MT. Project scopes are heavy highway, DOT, and FAA with values typically ranging from $5M to $25M .

• Proven experience leading Heavy Highway, DOT, or FAA projects

• Comfortable running crews and operating heavy equipment

• GPS (Trimble) experience is required

• Strong knowledge of schedules, quality, safety, and subcontractor management

• Willingness to travel regionally (Per diem provided)
