Technical & Mechanical Skills
1.Engine Diagnostics and Repair
oUnderstanding of diesel engine components (turbochargers, fuel injectors, etc.)
oAbility to diagnose engine issues using diagnostic tools (e.g., scan tools, multimeters)
2.Electrical System Knowledge
oAbility to diagnose and repair electrical systems (batteries, wiring, alternators, starters)
oUnderstanding of modern diesel ECU (Engine Control Units) and sensors
3.Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
oKnowledge of how hydraulic and air brake systems work
oSkills to service and troubleshoot these systems
4.Preventive Maintenance
oPerforming scheduled service checks, oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements
5.Transmission and Drivetrain
oUnderstanding of how diesel transmissions, differentials, and gear systems function
6.Use of Tools and Equipment
oProficiency with hand tools, power tools, lifts, diagnostic computers, and specialty tools
