- We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager who will oversee and supervise activities related to the planning and monitoring of commercial and industrial construction projects.
- You will be the lead for pre-construction meetings to ensure a successful handoff from estimating to field operations, manage financial aspects through ongoing job forecasting, and develop budgets for ERP and timekeeping systems.
- Lead pre-construction meetings to facilitate a seamless transition from estimating to field operations.
- Manage all financial aspects of the project through ongoing job forecasting.
- Extract cost and labor hours from job estimates to develop budgets for ERP and timekeeping systems.
- Develop and maintain project schedules that align with customer timelines and identify electrical installation tasks.
- Develop purchase orders including pricing, bill of materials, billing requirements, freight requirements, and required dates.
- Prepare and process submittals per contract documents or customer requirements for review and approval.
- Develop subcontractor agreements including pricing, scope of work, insurance requirements, schedule, and contract documents.
- Prepare contract documents such as drawings, specifications, scope of work, and schedules.
- Proficiency in electrical project management and estimation.
- Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E standards.
- 10 or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical construction industry, focusing on commercial and industrial large construction projects.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar studies preferred.
- The role is based onsite at the Brockport office.
- You will be part of a smaller team, consisting of 5-6 office personnel and 20-25 field technicians.
- The company focuses on middle-range commercial projects, such as hotels and grocery stores, with plans to expand into the Buffalo market.
