The Digital Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining secure, scalable technology across both on-premises and cloud environments. By ensuring the reliability, scalability and security of the organizations infrastructure, the Digital Infrastructure Engineer plays a critical role in enabling seamless business operations and supporting strategic growth. Their work directly impacts system uptime, data protection and associate productivity, whilst reducing operational risk through robust disaster recovery and security practices. Through proactive infrastructure management and collaboration with global teams, this role helps the organization maintain a competitive advantage in a fast paced life sciences industry.

This position reports to the Lead Digital Infrastructure Engineer and is part of the Technical Operations Team located in Waltham, MA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Design, deploy and manage scalable, secure infrastructure solutions.

Monitor and maintain system performance, availability and security.

Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery aiding business continuity plans .

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Associate or Bachelors Degree
• 5+ years of experience in an IT Infrastructure, Networking or equivalent role
• Demonstrable expertise managing both on-premises and cloud infrastructure platforms
• Working knowledge of enterprise-scale IT networking, routing, switching
• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code or Configuration Management systems

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel
• Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• AWS or Microsoft Azure Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate
