Steel welding and fabrication construction manager - updated 6/30/25

We are a welding and fabrication construction division of a larger construction company. We are looking for a strong manager with excellent steel fabrication, welding, project management and problem solving skills.

We repair the structural steel failures in steel framed buildings, we also construct new structures. We are looking for someone to manage and participate in the repairs of these projects.

We work all over Houston, and also have out of town projects. Travel would be required for some projects.

The person will require strong problem solving skills, be able to plan and manage projects, have good people and communication skills, and good welding and fabrication skills.

This is a salaried position with paid vacation, company holidays, and year end bonus participation. We have doubled in size over the last 5 years and expect this strong growth to continue. Great advancement opportunities.

Our scope of repairs range from engineered structural repairs to columns and girders including welding. At times we repair to engineered drawings, other times we repair damaged sections and rebuild to the original condition. Some experience with pre-engineered metal buildings required.
