Painter

As a Painter with MEE Construction Group, Inc. youll be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying finishes, and delivering clean, professional results on a variety of projects from new builds to renovations and restorations.

Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, caulking) Apply paint, varnish, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Perform touch-ups and maintain painted areas as needed
Work at heights using ladders or scaffolding Communicate effectively with clients and team leads
Use hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a tidy, hazard-free work site and follow all safety protocols

Requirements:
Location: Ottawa, ON (preferred)
Residential painting: 5 years (required) Familiarity with both residential and commercial painting
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent customer service and communication Comfortable working on ladders or scaffolding Must have full PPE: Hard Hat, Reflective Vest, and Safety Shoes

Valid Certifications Required:
Working at Heights
WHMIS
Ministry of Labours 4 Steps to Safety training

Schedule:
Full-time (Minimum 40 hours/week)
Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)
Start work ASAP.
Pay Rate: $25.00 $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
