A South East based commercial builder is in search of a Preconstruction Manager to be based in Sarasota, FL. This company has experienced successful growth for 50+ and builds in general commercial, healthcare, higher ed, k-12, and hospitality markets. They are committed to delivering large projects on time and budget and continue to be recognized as one of Floridas best builders, year after year. Relocating candidates are urged to apply.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating
• Experience estimating large projects of at least $20 million
• Experience in managing a project team
• Knowledge of conceptual, hard bid and CMAR GMP delivery methods
• Prior experience estimating healthcare, hospitality, k-12, higher ed markets
• Ability to form strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business or related field is preferred
