Equipment Operator

We are working with an established client seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join their team. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$28/hr - $35/hr

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as excavators and bulldozers, utilizing GPS software programs like Trimble or Topcon. This is a direct hire position with a competitive hourly rate and benefits.

Responsibilities of the Equipment Operator:

• Operate excavators and bulldozers efficiently and safely on construction sites.
• Utilize GPS software programs such as Trimble or Topcon for precision work.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Travel up to one hour to various job sites as required.

Required Experience/Skills for the Equipment Operator:

• Proven experience with excavators and bulldozers.
• Proficiency in GPS software programs such as Trimble or Topcon.
• Ability to travel up to one hour to job sites.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Equipment Operator:

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry as an equipment operator.
• OSHA certification.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
