We're looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team and help us build this exciting new division.

Position Summary:

As an HVAC Service Technician at Current Home, you'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining residential and/or commercial HVAC systems. This is a unique opportunity to grow with a company that is building a strong HVAC division backed by years of success in solar and roofing. You'll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maximize system efficiency.

  • Identify and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions.

  • Replace parts, make system adjustments, and test system performance.

  • Communicate clearly with customers, offering education on system usage and maintenance.

  • Document service calls, work performed, and parts used.

  • Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards and local codes.

  • Collaborate with other teams (solar and roofing) to provide integrated energy solutions.

  • Participate in the on-call service rotation and respond to emergency requests as needed.

  • Maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicle in clean, working order.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; HVAC certification or technical school preferred.

  • EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) required.

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as an HVAC service technician.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Proficient in reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.

  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.

  • Comfortable working in a range of conditions and environments.
