**HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR -**
**$31.00 - $45.00**

**POSITION SUMMARY:** The company is seeking an individual as a Mainline Trackhoe Operator. This role requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Work includes operating 300 -- 400 size trackhoes for a variety of excavation and landscape projects primarily in the Central Ohio area. Many of the machines are outfitted with GPS machine control. Typical types of work on our projects include site work, mass excavation, grading, utility installation, building pads, landscaping, pavers, walls mass plantings, stream restorations, and seeding. Some travel may be required for jobsites that may be outside of the Central Ohio area. Employees must have their own reliable transportation to get to the various job locations. Ironsite, Inc. has a strict Drug Free Workplace policy which includes pre-employment and random drug tests.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
- Proficient and comfortable digging 25'+ using boxes
- Follows safety protocols
- Always wears proper PPE
- Completes equipment inspection reports daily
- Maintains equipment on a daily basis-Grease, fluids, swept out, windows cleaned
- Buckets and Tracks are cleaned daily
- Able to keep a pace that will drive the crew to meet production goals
- Operating skills are above average and speed is appropriate
- Understands GPS and is able to use it to maximize production and accuracy
- Can see and hold grade
- Alerts the mechainc shop of potential equipment problems before they are critical.
- Able to successfully complete an independent task with light supervision
- Performs all work in an extremely safe manner. This includes equipment operation, attaching attachments, lifting, trenches, laybacks, tempo, and oversight of the safety of the pipelayer and others on the job
- Assists the foreman and can fill in as needed
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
- 3+ years of experience operating a mainline trackhoe
- OSHA 10 certification; mechanical experience a plus.
- Must be able to pass witnessed urine and hair drug test to qualify for employment.
