In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Specifying, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying turnkey automated test and measurement solutions

Defining and implementing project plans; managing milestones and holding reviews to assure systems meet requirements and readiness for deployment.

Designing/modeling /prototyping mechanical system components for test and measurement solutions

Traveling as needed (possibly up to 25%) domestically and abroad in support of project objectives

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

BS Degree: in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics

Minimum of 5-10 years relevant industry experience in a Mechanical Design Role

Thorough understanding of fundamental mechanical design principles and process

Intimate knowledge of 2D & 3D design tools i.e., Pro/E, SolidWorks

Proficient with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles

History of generating Statements of Work and design documentation Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with fixture and tool design

Familiar with thermal analysis and stress analysis

Knowledge of FMEA and RCCA methodologies

Knowledge of fabrication techniques (machining, stamping, extrusion, casting, sheet metal layout, etc.)

Knowledge of ESD principles

Basic knowledge of electrical design principles i.e., grounding, shielding, cable design null
