Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
The Maintenance Mechanic will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of machinery and facilities. This position requires a proactive approach to safety, compliance, and maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure the safety and health of oneself and the team working in the surrounding area, participating in all safety activities.
+ Support and maintain ISO 9001 activities, ensuring required processes are upheld.
+ Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct general fabrication and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
+ Oversee the maintenance of facility, grounds, and utility systems.
+ Collaborate with management to maintain waste water and other facility systems, ensuring compliance with environmental and local regulations.
+ Implement Preventative Maintenance Programs on parts inventory, machinery, tools, and equipment.
+ Repair and maintain machinery, mechanical equipment, motors, and other systems according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

+ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; interpret and apply safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, diagrams, and regulatory requirements.
+ Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence; able to communicate effectively in teams and with customers and vendors.
+ Strong skills in making accurate calculations and applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
+ Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization, including interactions with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
+ Proficient in computer software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
+ Competence in operating various office machines.
