LSI Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Rebar Estimator for a company located in the Dallas area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately calculating and pricing the rebar and related materials required for various construction projects. This role demands a strong understanding of construction blueprints, specifications, and industry best practices, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications:
Experience:
o Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Rebar Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
o Proven track record of successfully estimating projects of varying sizes and complexities.
Skills:
o Proficiency in rebar estimating software (e.g., aSa Rebar Estimating, Tekla Structures, or similar).
o Strong understanding of construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications (AISC, ACI, ASTM standards knowledge is a plus).
o Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
o High attention to detail and accuracy.
o Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
o Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
