- Engage in all phases of municipal water/wastewater treatment process design including conceptual and feasibility evaluations.
- Prepare design reports and develop contract documents.
- Provide bidding assistance and support construction engineering services.
- Work on projects involving the design of water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems for municipal clients across Indiana.
- Participate in some stormwater engineering and transportation engineering work.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline; a Master's or Ph.D. is a plus.
- Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana or ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Experience in water/wastewater engineering treatment process/plant design, including drinking water and wastewater.
- Hydraulic engineering experience with planning and design of pump stations, collection systems, and distribution systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
- Ability to serve as a mentor to junior team members.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Experience working for a civil consulting firm.
- Experience with treatment plant modeling software such as GPS-X and Visual Hydraulics.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D.

The office environment is laid back but can be deadline intensive at times. There is a family feel with a strong emphasis on teamwork. Dress code is business casual. Standard working hours are flexible, with options to start as early as 7 AM or as late as 9 AM. There is potential for a flexible work schedule with longer hours from Monday to Thursday and shorter hours on Friday.
