- Consult with project managers and contractors to resolve problems.
- Input and report findings to educate partners on environmental issues during pre-construction and construction phases.
- Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to achieve goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Potentially recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, overseeing staff competence development.
- Analyze technology resource needs and market demand to assess project feasibility.
- 5+ years of experience in Architecture, Construction, or Structural fields.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with industrial projects and concrete.
- Ability to read AutoCAD is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction, or Structural Engineering.
- Proficiency in project management, project coordination, and construction management.
- Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, and maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Basic computer skills in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
The position involves a standard 40-hour workweek with approximately 50% travel. The role will require initial travel to the UK to meet the Technical Integration team within the first two weeks of the assignment, followed by frequent travel across the US and Canada within the first six months to visit various facilities. Weekly calls with the Head of the project for the UK will transition to bi-weekly once familiar with the project.
