Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and builders on diverse projects across the U.S. and overseas.
  • Shape the future of the company by influencing processes and leveraging cutting-edge technology.
  • Execute mechanical engineering tasks within the MEP design space using BIM and AutoCAD software.
  • Apply knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design in consulting environments.
  • Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE standards (90.1, 62.1, 55) and California Title 24 Energy Code.
  • Engage in sustainable design and design-build practices.
  • Contribute to government and Department of Defense (DOD) projects.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on HVAC and Plumbing Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
  • 10+ years of HVAC/Plumbing design experience within a consulting firm.
  • Proficient in BIM and Revit/AutoCAD software.
  • Experience with ASHRAE 90.1, 62.1, and 55 standards.
  • Experience with California Title 24 Energy Code.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • LEED AP certification preferred.
  • Experience with sustainable design.
  • Familiarity with design-build and alternative delivery practices.
  • Experience with government/DOD projects preferred.
Work Environment

The work environment is primarily an office setting with occasional site visits for project progress. The company is privately held and rapidly growing, having made a strategic decision to bring all engineering work in-house, allowing for more control over execution and increased margins. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.

Company provide full range of benefits as well as PTO and Relocation packages
