- Create the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Oversee site safety to ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Create, maintain, and review all project documentation.
- Conduct project oversight and implement quality control measures.
- Communicate effectively with trades, subcontractors, clients, and owners.
- Manage project materials to ensure timely availability and usage.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction.
- 5+ years as a Lead Superintendent on ground-up projects.
- Experience with projects valued at $10 million or more.
- Located in or around Lafayette, IN, to establish a new team in the area.
- Proficiency in client-facing roles and effective communication with clients.
- Experience with construction software such as Procore.
- Ability to create comprehensive construction schedules.
- Construction Management Degree.
- Masonry experience.
- Experience in K-12 construction projects.
This role is based on-site, requiring 40-50 hours per week depending on the season and weather. During busy periods, you may work five 10-hour days. The company values family time and offers job security, with opportunities to learn from the retiring lead superintendent. The position includes a salary paid weekly, a phone allowance, and a vehicle allowance depending on the vehicle's age. Necessary technology such as a laptop or tablet will be provided as needed. Travel expenses for required trips will be covered.
