Yard Loader Operator

Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates to fill a LOADER OPERATOR position at the Rutherford Quarry located in Murfreesboro, TN. The successful candidate for this role will have previous experience operating a large-size, wheeled loader - like a CAT 988, CAT 992, Komatsu WA500-8, Komatsu WA600-8, or similar. The successful candidate must also have an uncompromising commitment to safety excellence.

• Location: Rutherford Quarry - Rogers Group Inc - Murfreesboro, TN
• Wage starting at $24.00/hr

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This role will primarily operate a large, wheel loader on the yard to load trucks and maintain stockpiles.
• Ability to interact with customers and provide excellent customer service.
• May also be required to operate various other pieces of heavy equipment as needs require, and at the discretion of the plant manager and foreman

QUALIFICATIONS

• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence - individual must be dedicated to operating safely at all times.
• Have at least one year of experience operating a large-size wheel loader - similar to a CAT 988, CAT 992, Komatsu WA500-8, or Komatsu WA600-8.
• Experience operating a variety of heavy equipment - dozer, track hoe, skid steer - preferred.
• Ability to pick up on new task quickly.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
• Team player - individual must be willing to perform any task required at the quarry.
• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration requirement.
• Assist other workers as needed or directed.
• Other duties, assignments, and requirements as determined by management.
