**Job Description**

A local manufacturer in Indianapolis is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Assembler to join their 1st shift team. The role involves working in a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and development.

**Responsibilities**

+ Utilize computers to track production orders effectively.

+ Measure and mark steel accurately for machine operations.

+ Read and interpret production documents efficiently.

+ Operate drill presses and saws with precision.

+ Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Skilled in using tape measures for accurate measurements.

+ Experience in machine operation, including drill presses and saws.

+ Strong mechanical assembly and fabrication skills.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with grinding and fabrication processes.

+ Knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques.

**Work Environment**

This position is located in a small, clean job shop in Indianapolis. The facility is experiencing growth due to recent acquisition by Alliance Machine Systems, offering a dynamic and expanding work environment.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
