Job Summary

W e are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support daily logistics operations, including the loading and unloading of trucks, material handling, inventory tracking, and general warehouse organization. This role plays a key part in maintaining an efficient and compliant warehouse environment and requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a proactive mindset.

Job Description

  • Safely load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, including raw materials, active ingredients (AIs), and finished products.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; in-house forklift certification provided if not currently certified.
  • Maintain compliance with site safety and segregation policies, including adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
  • Support accurate inventory tracking by completing movement documentation and resolving discrepancies through established troubleshooting methods.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization, taking ownership of assigned areas and recommending process improvements.
  • Complete all required shipping and receiving documentation (e.g., Lot #, Article #, Quantity, etc.) and ensure accuracy against shipment paperwork (BOLs, delivery notes).
  • Inspect and maintain forklifts and other equipment, completing required inspection paperwork.
  • Assist with periodic inventory counts and year-end physical inventory.
  • Verify compliance with DOT, IMDG, IATA, and FIFRA regulations for all outbound shipments, including exports.
  • Utilize SAP to review, update, and troubleshoot inventory transactions with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in HAZWOPER training and serve as back-up support to Warehouse Assistant or Supervisor as needed.
  • Execute daily warehouse shutdown procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Shift: 7:30AM - 4:30 PM M-F

Skills Required

  • 15 years of experience in a warehouse or production environment, including shipping/receiving tasks.
  • Previous forklift experience required; in-house certification provided.
  • Good math and communication skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety.
  • Strong attention to d etail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, safety-first environment.

Education

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED.

Pay Rate

  • $19 per hour
