Our Reading area client is seeking a HVAC Technician to join their team! Express is offering Direct Hire career opportunities for those qualified for and interested in this position!

HVAC Technician DIRECT HIRE
Pay: $25.00-$35.00/hr depending on experience

Shift: Hiring 1st shift 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Location: Reading, PA

Responsibilities of the HVAC Technician:
Maintains, overhauls, and operates air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including compressors, pumps, evaporators, expansion valves, solenoid valves, all controls, condensers, and other related parts.
Troubleshoots and adjusts HVAC systems and control equipment to maintain proper temperature, humidity, and air flow conditions.
Monitors and measures pressure drop of HVAC filters and replaces them as necessary, observing all system integrity and safety requirements,
Repairs and adjusts refrigeration systems to maintain design parameters, e.g. temperature pressure, level, etc.

Qualifications of the HVAC Technician:
Heavy lifting
Demonstrate basic computer skills, refrigeration controller technology
Demonstrate proficiency in testing, adjusting, and balancing HVAC systems
Universal Certification to handle refrigerant transition and recovery in accordance with EPA
Ability to read refrigeration/HVAC drawings and electronic/electric/pneumatic control schematics
Ability to analyze air conditioning and refrigeration problems and take corrective action
Hydraulic, pneumatic and plumbing experience
MIG and TIG welding
Must be able to communicate in English
