Civil Superintendent

Job Description: Working with a client that is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highway construction, earth moving, building pads, utilities, and site preparation. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of construction plans and proven leadership on heavy civil projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations on heavy civil construction sites

• Oversee highway, dirt work, building pads, earth moving, and utility installation

• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

• Coordinate subcontractors, labor, and equipment effectively

• Read, interpret, and apply construction plans and specifications

• Maintain communication with project stakeholders and management

Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years of experience as a Lead Superintendent in heavy civil construction

• Proven experience with highway, earth moving, building pads, utilities, and dirt work

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Commitment to safety and quality standards
