Renewables Power Delivery Project Manager

POWER Engineers, Member of WSP is currently seeking a Project Manager to join the Power Delivery Renewables Project Management department. The position is posted in multiple POWER Engineers, Member of WSP office but remote work is allowed from any location in the US (please note desired location in the application).

The position will manage various types of renewables projects with a focus on utility scale wind, solar, storage, and a combination of those. DER , microgrids, EVs and other similar grid edge type projects will be a secondary focus. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in renewables work, including High Voltage Interconnects, and the desire to be a key team member dedicated to growing our Renewables Project Portfolio.

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a technical background in grid scale renewables projects and take an active role in coordinating with various internal engineering teams needed to execute the project work. You will be responsible for managing technical and financial aspects of Renewables (wind, solar, and BESS ) projects, establishing and growing client relationships, and marketing our Renewables services to existing and new clients throughout the US.

Other responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

+ Promote company culture and manage internal and external relationships

+ Lead the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and close out

+ Manage project implementation including project schedule, project budget, and the project resources including external vendors and contractors

+ Collaborate with and provide leadership and mentoring to the project design teams

+ Stay technically engaged in aspects of projects that align with candidates experience and interest

+ Identify key clients and take lead role in sales and developing those client relationships

+ This position will include travel to meet with clients throughout the US and occasional internationally

+ Demonstrated Project Management skills should include CPM scheduling, budget and cost analysis, managing project teams, as
