CAD Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to create detailed designs and layouts for underground piping and pipeline distribution systems. The ideal candidate will work extensively with AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop and interpret mapping layouts for infrastructure, utility, and pipeline projects. This role involves supporting city municipality projects, including public works and infrastructure planning, and preparing presentations for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed CAD designs and layouts for underground piping and pipeline distribution systems.
  • Work heavily in AutoCAD and utilize Civil 3D for civil infrastructure and utility design.
  • Develop and interpret mapping layouts for infrastructure, utility, and pipeline projects.
  • Support city municipality projects, including public works and infrastructure planning.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design projects.
Essential Skills
  • 415 years of relevant CAD experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Strong experience with Civil 3D, pipeline mapping, and distribution systems.
  • Experience in municipal infrastructure and underground utility design.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing project scopes.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
