Superintendent Of Construction

We are seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage Warehouse/Trucking Terminal Projects across the nation. This role involves supervising on-site construction activities while actively engaging in hands-on carpentry work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction activities and engage in hands-on carpentry work.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, labor, and materials on the construction site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project plans.
• Perform basic carpentry tasks as needed, including framing, installation/repairs, Misc Metal work, finishing, and repairs.
• Collaborate with the project manager to ensure project goals are achieved within the specified timeline.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site, actively participating in safety initiatives.
• Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and support to the construction team.

• Proven experience as a construction site supervisor with hands-on carpentry skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Proficient in various carpentry tasks, including framing, PEMB, light gauge metal framing, finishing, general carpentry, and repairs.
• Ability to lead and coordinate on-site construction activities effectively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Basic understanding of project management principles.

• Relevant certifications in carpentry or construction supervision are a plus.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks while working in a dynamic construction environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
