Job Description

Estimator with over 10 years of experience in heavy civil, infrastructure, and site development projects. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are ready to lead estimating efforts for complex construction initiatives across Central Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

  • Lead estimating efforts for infrastructure and roadway construction projects.
  • Oversee site development and grading estimations.
  • Manage estimations for utility installation and trenching.
  • Coordinate maintenance and rehabilitation project estimations.
  • Direct heavy civil and public works initiative estimations.
Essential Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in construction estimating, particularly in heavy civil and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as HCSS, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial construction and cost estimation.
  • Knowledge of excavation and land development.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and construction management.
  • Ability to handle pricing, proposals, and preconstruction activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
