You will work collaboratively with our team to complete the following:

* Evaluation and selection of process equipment, pumping systems, and materials selection

* Development of facility layouts, construction documents, including drawings and specifications

* Water and wastewater process modeling, mass balances, and design calculations

* Data analysis and hydraulic modeling

* Technical report writing

* Construction services support

* Field inspection of mechanical equipment

You will also work with diverse teams to deliver challenging projects while serving and developing clients across the United States and internationally. Jacobs has a strong technical water/wastewater treatment background, and you will have the opportunity to connect to and work with our technical experts across the company.

* Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or related engineering field from an accredited university or college.

* Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or ability to obtain soon after hire.

* Self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis skills, technical problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ideally, youll also have

* 2 or more years of experience, including internships specific to municipal water and/or wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.

* Masters degree in mechanical or related engineering discipline.

* Hydraulic modeling skills (AFT Fathom, Pipe-Flo).

* Construction or facility operations experience.
