Estimator

We are seeking a motivated and experienced **Estimator** to manage Xometry projects remotely. This key role involves analyzing project requirements, preparing detailed cost and time estimates, and ensuring smooth collaboration across teams. Prior hands-on experience with the Xometry platform is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of manufacturing processes, pricing strategies, and a keen analytical mindset to deliver accurate, competitive bids.

Responsibilities

- Analyze RFQs and specifications on the Xometry platform

- Prepare precise cost and time estimates for CNC machining, 3D printing, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and more

- Identify required materials, labor, and equipment

- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and engineering to validate assumptions and improve estimate accuracy

- Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools

- Monitor estimates against actual costs to refine pricing models

- Support bidding strategies to improve win rates while maintaining profitability

- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

- MUST HAVE

prior experience with Xometry projects and platform

- Strong understanding of manufacturing and machining processes

- Minimum 1 year of estimating or project management experience in manufacturing

- Excellent analytical, math, and organizational skills

- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

- Proficient with spreadsheet tools like Google Sheets

- Self-starter capable of working independently in a remote setting

Compensation

- Paid at minimum wage hourly rate

- Plus commission bonus of 1% on all sales

- Fully remote position
