About the Role
AvantStay is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician / Handyman to support our vacation rental properties in the South Lake Tahoe area. Youll be our go-to person for tackling a wide variety of repairs and improvement tasks helping us ensure an excellent guest experience.

Sample Tasks Youll Handle
Fix or replace furniture, unclog drains, touch up paint, replace fixtures
Troubleshoot GFCIs, disposals, toilets, sinks, basic electrical/plumbing
Patch drywall, caulk, install flooring, tile, and assist with light carpentry
Mount TVs, install cabinetry, assemble furniture
Organize tools/supplies and maintain storage areas
Lift heavy items and spend time on your feet

What Were Looking For
Tech-savvy with a smartphone (we use simple apps for invoicing/tasks)
Can work independently and complete jobs with minimal supervision
Reliable vehicle (truck/SUV preferred)
Strong communicator and problem-solver
Physically capable (heavy lifting, active tasks)
Flexible availability (weekdays and weekends as needed)

Requirements
Willing to complete a background check
Able to submit a W9 and sign a contractor agreement Has or is willing to obtain a Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI)
Certifications (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.) are a plus!
